Kershaw Lockback Brown Wood Stainless Folding Knife

Description

The Kershaw Lockback in Brown Wood pairs a satin-finished 2.5-inch stainless drop point blade with a classic brown wood handle and stainless bolsters, a traditional-styled folder shaped around a secure two-hand locking mechanism.

A lockback secures the blade open with a spine-mounted mechanism that requires deliberately pressing a release near the back of the handle to close, one of the most trusted locking styles for its simplicity and strength, and a design that’s remained popular in traditional patterns for generations. The satin blade finish gives a clean, classic look while still resisting fingerprints noticeably better than a full mirror polish would. Wood handle scales bring warmth and natural grain variation no synthetic material can replicate, and stainless bolsters add durability at the pivot points while giving the knife a distinguished, finished look. There is no thumb stud here; the blade opens on a nail nick, a small notch cut into the blade spine that a fingernail catches to start the opening motion, the same method traditional pocketknives have used for generations before locking mechanisms became common.

Kershaw backs the Lockback with the same limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship that covers the full lineup, confidence in a knife shaped around a proven, trusted locking mechanism. Explore more Lockback Knives.
