The Kershaw Blur Tanto Serrated brings a more aggressive edge geometry to Ken Onion’s proven Blur platform, a 3.4-inch DLC-coated 14C28N tanto blade with full serrations, set in a black anodized aluminum handle with a Trac-Tec grip insert.

The tanto blade shape gives piercing strength, a high point angle and reinforced tip that push through tougher material, thick packaging, dense rope, layered fabric, that a standard drop point can struggle with. Full serrations along the entire edge add aggressive bite against fibrous material, cutting through webbing and cord noticeably faster than a plain edge. DLC coating bonds an extremely hard, low-friction carbon layer directly to the steel, resisting scratches and wear far better than a standard black oxide finish. A thumb stud delivers fast, reliable deployment, and the Trac-Tec insert keeps the grip secure even when wet or gloved.
