Description

The Jabsco DIY engine oil change system combines an extraction pump and collection bucket to make routine engine-oil changes cleaner and more manageable. The pump draws warm oil through the engine’s dipstick tube, avoiding the need to reach a drain plug in a cramped bilge or engine compartment.

The system is designed to extract warmed engine oil efficiently into its dedicated container, keeping the used fluid contained during service. This arrangement is particularly useful aboard boats where engine access is limited and conventional gravity draining would be difficult or likely to create a mess.

Warm the engine only as directed by the engine manufacturer, shut it down safely, and confirm the correct dipstick-tube connection before extraction. Avoid contact with hot oil or engine surfaces, monitor the collection container during pumping, and dispose of used oil through an approved recycling or waste facility.
