Icom IC-M73 6W Submersible Handheld VHF Radio

Description

The Icom IC-M73 6W Submersible Handheld VHF Radio is well suited to the commercial marine market and to anyone already familiar with Icom’s well-regarded M72 handheld, carrying forward that same proven hourglass shape, with grips along the sides that make one-handed use intuitive.

6 watts of transmit power and IPX8 submersible construction give this radio real staying power in commercial use, and a loud 700mW audio output stays audible even in noisy conditions, backed by roughly 18 hours of operating time on a charge. Large directional buttons keep menu navigation fast, and rigorous testing to MIL-STD 810 confirms this radio can take real abuse without failing.
