The Faria Beede Chesapeake White 2-Inch Fuel Level Gauge, metric scale, E to F, carries Chesapeake’s familiar perimeter-lit white dial, blue and white graphics, domed glass lens, and polished stainless bezel with a contoured white pointer.

A tank-mounted sending unit with a movable float feeds this gauge its reading. As fuel level rises or falls, the float shifts and changes the sender’s resistance, which alters how much current makes it to the gauge’s meter and moves the needle to track fuel level accurately in real time rather than relying on rough guesswork.
