The ESEE Avispa Black D2 Carbon Fiber uses a 3.5 in black EDP-coated D2 drop-point blade in the same 5 in framelock format.

The 5 in handle combines carbon fiber over G10 on the front with a black stainless back. That metal back forms the frame lock, so the locking bar is part of the handle structure rather than a separate liner.

A thumb stud provides manual opening and a pocket clip handles carry. Compared with the stonewashed Avispa, this version uses the same basic construction but changes the blade and metal handle surfaces to a darker black finish.

This black Avispa also includes a lanyard hole and blade etching. The darker EDP-coated D2 blade and black stainless back handle distinguish it from the stonewashed carbon-fiber version while keeping the same 5 in frame.
