The Elk Ridge Trapper carries mirror-finished 3Cr13 stainless clip and spey blades in an orange southwest acrylic handle with nickel silver bolsters, closing to 4.13 inches.

Two blades cover two jobs: the clip handles general cutting while the spey blade’s flat edge and rounded tip handle skinning and scraping without a point to puncture what lies beneath. Orange makes the knife easy to find again if it is set down on a bench or in grass, which matters more on a working pocketknife than it sounds, and the southwest pattern runs through the acrylic rather than sitting on top.
