Egis TDR Series Dual Output Time Delay Relay, 80A

Description

The Egis TDR Series Dual Output Time Delay Relay is a 12V power-management module designed to keep selected equipment powered for a controlled period after the engine or ignition source is turned off. Two independently controlled 80A outputs allow the module to support high-current accessories while reducing the risk of dead batteries caused by equipment remaining powered indefinitely.

The delay can be programmed from immediate shutdown up to four hours, making the module useful for onboard video systems, communications equipment, data transfer, cooling, and other loads that may need time to finish operating after the vehicle or vessel is shut down. A separate low-current output can maintain memory circuits or signal other equipment to begin an orderly shutdown.

Optional under-voltage and over-voltage protection can help protect sensitive electronics, while start-event isolation can keep loads from seeing voltage disturbances during engine cranking. Control can be triggered from ignition, alternator-voltage sensing, or both, and a kill-switch input allows immediate shutdown for service or emergency use.

Each main output supports 80A continuous current, with up to 120A intermittent for five minutes. The sealed construction is rated IP66/IP6K9K and ignition protected to ISO 8846.
