Description

The Egis 250A Panel Mount 87 Series Circuit Breaker combines automatic overcurrent protection with manual On/Off switching in one compact device. It is designed to protect high-current DC circuits from short circuits and thermal overload while also giving the operator a convenient way to isolate the connected load for service or emergency shutdown.

The breaker is rated for 250A continuous current and up to 48V DC, making it suitable for 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V systems. Its high interrupt capability supports battery banks with substantial available fault current, with ratings of 5,000A at 14V DC and 3,000A at 28V DC.
