Description

The Dolphin ACS 12V 80A Auto Charger Selector automatically manages charging between a starting battery and a service battery bank on 12V boats. Rather than requiring manual battery selection, the voltage-sensing relay connects and separates the banks automatically according to charging conditions.

Dolphin’s MOSFET-based current-limiting design includes a one-way blocking function that helps prevent house-battery voltage from collapsing when the engine or bow thruster is started. This can reduce disruptive voltage dips that may affect sensitive electronics such as GPS and navigation equipment.

The ACS is IP67 waterproof and ignition protected to ISO 8846 for appropriate gasoline-powered boat installations. It has no moving relay contacts, uses low operating current, and includes a multi-color status LED plus a remote-operation switch connection.
