Digital Antenna 8-Foot Wide Band VHF Antenna

Description

The Digital Antenna 8-Foot Wide Band VHF Antenna borrows technology originally developed for military and commercial applications, giving marine users a high-performance broadband VHF solution across a tremendous 134-176 MHz range.

A nominal 6dB gain paired with the ability to handle continuous RF power up to 150 watts makes for high-quality communication across a band that’s traditionally hard to cover well. A proprietary, patent-pending design keeps an internal ground plane low-radiating without sacrificing performance anywhere across that wide bandwidth. Built for civil auxiliary services, 2-meter amateur radio, VHF business band, MURS, land mobile, VHF marine, narrowband FM, VHF SATCOM, AIS, and NOAA weather, this antenna’s aircraft-grade aluminum ferrule carries a rugged hard-coated anodized finish, and soldered brass radiating elements hold up to harsh conditions.

20′ cable included. Compatible with VHF marine, AIS, NOAA weather, and multiple business/amateur radio services.
