Daiwa Regal LT 2000D 6.2:1 Air Rotor Spinning Reel

Description

The Daiwa Regal LT 2000D is a fast 6.2:1 spinning reel built with six ball bearings plus one roller bearing. It picks up 32 in of line with each turn of the handle and supplies up to 11 lb of drag, giving the 2000D a little more line recovery and substantially more line capacity than the smaller 1000D while retaining the same gear ratio and drag rating.

The deeper 2000D spool holds 340 yd of 4 lb or 220 yd of 6 lb monofilament. Braided-line capacity is 280 yd of 8 lb or 215 yd of 10 lb line. Daiwa’s Long Cast ABS spool design is intended to manage line efficiently through casting and retrieval, while the Air Rotor design forms the reel’s rotating assembly.

A Zaion V body keeps the reel focused on lightweight construction, and Daiwa’s Advanced Tournament Drag system controls the 11 lb maximum drag. The combination of 32 in pickup per turn, seven-bearing support, Air Rotor, Zaion V, ATD, and the deeper 2000D line capacities makes this Regal LT a versatile light spinning-reel option.
