Daiwa Eliminator 4000 Spinning Reel 5.7:1 ATD Drag System

Description

The Daiwa Eliminator 4000 is a larger spinning reel with four ball bearings, one roller bearing, and a 5.7:1 gear ratio. It retrieves 39.9 in of line per handle turn and delivers up to 17.6 lb of drag, giving the 4000 size greater line capacity and pulling capability for heavier fishing applications.

Monofilament capacity is 300 yd of 10 lb, 260 yd of 12 lb, or 210 yd of 14 lb line. Braided-line capacity is 280 yd of 30 lb or 200 yd of 40 lb line. A dynamic-cut aluminum ABS spool provides the line platform and is J-BRAID ready for anglers who want to spool the reel directly with braid.

The reel uses Daiwa’s Advanced Tournament Drag system to control drag pressure as line is pulled from the spool. With 39.9 in pickup per turn, 17.6 lb maximum drag, and the larger 4000-series capacities, this Eliminator is configured for anglers who need more line and drag than the smaller 2500 model provides.
