Description

The Cold Steel Pro Lite Sport pairs a 3.5-inch satin-finished 1.4116 stainless blade with a black GFN handle, closing to 4.5 inches, with a thumb pull, pocket clip and lanyard hole.

1.4116 is a German stainless used widely in kitchen cutlery, with enough chromium to resist rust and a grain fine enough to take a clean edge that comes back on any stone. GFN is glass-filled nylon, stiff and light, which is how Cold Steel keeps a 4.5-inch folder from feeling heavy in a pocket.

The thumb pull is a notch cut into the blade rather than a stud fitted to it, so nothing protrudes to catch when the knife is drawn. A lockback secures the blade with a spine-mounted bar, simple enough that there is very little to go wrong. Explore more Lockback Knives.
