Cattlemans Cutlery Farriers Companion Folding Knife

Description

The Cattlemans Cutlery Farriers Companion has a satin-finished 3Cr13 stainless clip blade alongside a farrier’s hoof pick, in black Delrin handles with mirror polished stainless bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 4.125 inches.

The hoof pick defines the pattern. It is a blunt hooked tool for clearing packed dirt, stones and manure from a horse’s hoof before shoeing, work no cutting edge can do without injuring the animal. The clip blade covers the cutting half of barn work, from baling twine to feed sacks.

Delrin is an acetal plastic that resists cracking, moisture and the chemicals found around livestock, holding its dimensions where bone would move. Mirror polished bolsters resist tarnish at the pivot ends, and a slip joint keeps the mechanism simple where dirt and hair get into everything. Explore more Traditional Pocket Knives.
