Description

The Camillus Cuda Mini Snip is a compact line cutter, titanium bonded stainless jaws in a blue non-slip synthetic handle with the Cuda grip pattern.

This is a dedicated tool for cutting fishing line, and it earns that over a knife blade because braided and fluorocarbon line dulls an edge fast and frays instead of parting cleanly. Opposing jaws shear the line rather than slicing it, so the cut is square and threads through a hook eye. Titanium bonding puts a hard surface layer over the stainless, adding wear resistance and slowing corrosion in exactly the salt and damp conditions that kill ordinary snips.
