The C.E. Smith Single Aluminum Transom Rod Holder mounts to the transom rather than a rail, designed with outboard engine wells in mind and equally suited to a seating station.

The tube leans 5 degrees away from a mounting base measuring 3 inches tall by 2-3/4 inches wide, with a 10 inch overall height. Mount it vertically or turn it outward for a wider spread across the transom.

Construction follows the rest of the aluminum range, with a 3/8 inch thick blade, a welded 1/3 inch gimbal bar and a 1-5/8 inch bore with a flared opening. The tapered liner and a rod security hole in the blade protect the rod, and a white vinyl liner is included. Find more in our rod holders.
