The C.E. Smith Cast Bottom 0-Degree Flush Mount Holder is made for keeping rods secure while trolling, running, or storing gear, using the construction and working features listed by the manufacturer for this model.

These larger 70C series models feature a beautifully rounded cast bottom end with a 1/2″ tapered pipe threaded drain. Use them when the bottom of the rod holder must have a decorative appearance or add a drain tube and use it when there is dry storage space under the rod holder. This rod holder uses a super tough cast stainless steel gimbal bar designed to hold up to the punishment of downriggers or heavy tackle. A white vinyl liner protects rods and is keyed to the gimbal, so the liner stays in place.
