Description

C.E. Smith 40 PVC Post Guide-On w/Unlighted Posts – Black – 27626

For a more detailed look at the C.E. Smith 40″ Black PVC Post Guide-On (27626), these guides are engineered for longevity and visibility. Unlike basic plastic versions that can crack upon impact, these feature 16-gauge square steel uprights that are pre-galvanized to resist corrosion, even in saltwater.

The black PVC posts offer a sleek, modern alternative to standard white and provide a high-contrast visual marker when backing your trailer into the water. This is especially helpful in bright sunlight or at night when water surfaces can create confusing reflections. The reflective black caps add an extra layer of safety, making your trailer more visible to other drivers during transport.

Expanded Features & Benefits

• Structural Integrity: The 1.5″ square steel cores extend 18 inches into the PVC, providing the rigidity needed to nudge a boat back into alignment without snapping.

• Highly Adjustable: The 90-degree metal uprights can be moved outward up to 13 inches per side, allowing you to customize the fit for boats of various beam widths.

• Protect Your Finish: The non-marring PVC acts as a buffer, ensuring that your boat’s hull is protected from scratches during loading and unloading.

• Universal Mounting: The included hardware fits standard trailer frames up to 3″ wide by 4-1/4″ tall. For larger frames, it can accommodate up to 5-1/4″ height with an optional kit.

• Made in the USA: Built with quality materials and a 1-year limited warranty for peace of mind season after season.
