Description

The sockets in this 12-piece 1/2” drive 6-point metric deep impact socket set are manufactured from forged and heat-treated chrome vanadium steel, then finished with a durable black phosphate coating. This construction is designed to endure demanding professional use while protecting the sockets from dirt, oil, and grease that can degrade tool performance over time. A premium black phosphate finish is used instead of the more common black oxide coating to provide enhanced durability. The 6-point socket design delivers a secure grip on fasteners, helping prevent corner rounding under high torque.

Each socket features a blue ring to clearly identify it as a 1/2” drive socket, making selection quick and easy in the toolbox. For improved safety and strength, a pivot pin retainer ring on the drive end secures the pin in place, reducing the risk of injury if the pin loosens or fails. On the anvil side, all sockets include a through-hole design that properly seats the socket on ball- or pin-style anvils, preventing accidental detachment during use.
