Description

The Blue Sea PowerBar 1000 8-Stud Bus Bar provides a 1,000A central distribution point for complex marine DC systems while using a shorter footprint than the 12-stud versions. Eight 5/16-inch terminal studs accommodate large battery, charging, inverter, and distribution conductors, while smaller screw terminals provide additional connection options.

Tin-plated pure electrical copper delivers high conductivity and corrosion resistance. The stepped two-elevation design increases wire density and aligns with compatible fuse blocks so some installations can eliminate short connecting cables between the bus and fuse protection. Stainless steel 8-32 screws with captive lock washers secure smaller-gauge wires.

The bus bar may be shortened if installation space is especially constrained, while bi-directional end caps allow multiple PowerBars to be ganged together when additional capacity is needed. A snap-on insulating cover helps protect the terminals, meets applicable ABYC and USCG requirements, and includes label recesses for circuit identification.
