Description

The Blue Sea PowerBar 1000 8-Stud Bus Bar is a compact high-current distribution point for larger marine battery and DC power systems. Its eight 3/8-inch terminal studs and 1,000A continuous rating provide substantial capacity for battery, inverter, charger, and feeder connections without requiring a long conventional bus bar.

The bus is manufactured from tin-plated pure electrical copper for high conductivity and corrosion resistance. A stepped design places conductors at two different elevations, increasing wiring density and helping large cables route more cleanly. The matching bus and fuse-block heights can also allow compatible fuse holders to mount directly without separate jumper cables.

Stainless steel 8-32 screws with captive lock washers provide connection points for smaller wiring. The bus can be cut shorter when space is limited, and bi-directional end caps allow additional PowerBars to be ganged together as the system grows. A snap-on insulating cover protects the terminals and includes label recesses.
