Description

The Blue Sea PowerBar 1000 12-Stud Bus Bar provides a high-capacity central distribution point for complex marine DC systems. Its 1,000A continuous rating and twelve 3/8-inch terminal studs make it suitable for consolidating multiple large battery, inverter, charging, and distribution conductors in one organized location.

The bus is made from tin-plated pure electrical copper for high conductivity and corrosion resistance. A stepped two-level design increases wiring density by allowing conductors to be arranged at different elevations, while matched bus and fuse-block heights can let compatible fuse blocks connect directly without short jumper cables. Stainless steel 8-32 screws with captive lock washers provide additional connection points for smaller-gauge wiring.

The PowerBar can be shortened when installation space is limited, and bi-directional end caps allow additional bus bars to be ganged together as the electrical system expands. A snap-on insulating cover helps protect the connections, provides label recesses, and is designed to meet applicable ABYC and USCG requirements.
