Flat rocker actuation is what separates this Blue Sea Systems A-Series ELCI main circuit breaker from its toggle sibling. It is a double pole 30A unit providing overcurrent and leakage protection to ABYC E-11, with a 30 mA leakage trip, and it meets UL 1500 external ignition protection requirements.

The flat rocker actuator sits close to the panel face, which makes accidental switching much harder. On a boat where the AC panel is in a passageway or near a companionway step, that matters more than it sounds: a main breaker knocked open at the wrong moment takes the charger and everything else with it.

It trips on short circuit, overload or leakage to ground, with 5000A interrupt capacity and a magnetic hydraulic trip free mechanism. Maximum voltage is 240V AC or 120V AC per pole. The breaker front panel mounts into a power distribution panel and operates from -35°C to 65°C. Compare with our other marine circuit breakers.
