Blue Sea 9630 AC Analog Ammeter – 0-50A Range

Description

The Blue Sea 9630 AC Analog Ammeter provides a traditional 2-3/4-inch meter face for monitoring AC current from 0A to 50A. It is designed for shore-power or generator systems where the operator wants a clear, immediate indication of current demand.

The meter uses an external AC current transformer that slips over the conductor being measured. The transformer senses current without routing the full load through the gauge, then supplies the meter through a simple two-wire connection. This arrangement keeps high-current AC conductors out of the instrument panel and simplifies the monitoring circuit.

The backlit face improves visibility at night and allows the gauge to coordinate with other illuminated instruments in the electrical panel. For common 30A and 50A marine AC systems where a 0-50A scale is appropriate, the 9630 provides a straightforward analog way to watch shore-power or generator load.
