Blue Sea 8379 DC Main +20 Position Circuit Breaker Panel

Description

The Blue Sea Systems 8379 DC panel gives you a main breaker plus 20 branch positions, which is where boats end up once the six-switch panel that came with the hull stops being enough. Fourteen positions arrive filled with 15A single pole breakers. A 100A C-Series main sits with them, and an 8248 digital multimeter with alarm is built into the face, so bank voltage and current are on the panel already instead of needing a separate gauge wired in somewhere else.

Wiring is less work than the size suggests. Positive, negative and grounding buses are installed and the whole thing ships pre-wired. A toggle switch at the meter lets it read up to three battery banks. Label positions are backlit as standard with no kit to buy, and every circuit has an ON indicator, so a tripped breaker shows itself rather than making you work backwards from whatever stopped running.

The body is heavy 1/8 inch 5052 aluminum under a two-part polyurethane slate gray finish, with MIL-C-5541C or equivalent immersion undercoating underneath for corrosion resistance. Height and width follow industry standard dimensions so it drops into a common cutout, and the mounting holes are countersunk.
