The Blue Sea Systems 8371 is a water resistant 8 position panel in black, horizontal mount, rated IP66 and built for flybridges and open cockpits where an ordinary panel would not last. IP66 means it withstands water thrown at it by heavy seas, not just spray.

Protection comes from several directions at once. The switches are ON-OFF Contura units with ON indicating LEDs embedded in the switch itself rather than beside it. Each push button circuit breaker wears a waterproof boot. A watertight mounting gasket seals the panel to whatever it is fitted into, so water does not simply go around the front and in behind.

The panel is CE marked and ignition protected, which is the specification that matters on gasoline powered boats, where a switch arcing in an enclosed space near fuel vapour is a genuine hazard rather than a paperwork detail. Browse the rest of our marine electrical panels.
