Description

The Blue Sea 8366 AC Rotary Switch Panel provides manual selection among three 120V AC sources in a compact two-pole marine panel. It is intended for systems where over-current protection is already provided elsewhere and the boat needs a clear mechanical method of choosing which shore or generator source feeds the downstream AC load.

The panel uses Blue Sea’s heavy-duty 9010 industrial-rated rotary switch with three source positions plus Off. Red reverse-polarity LEDs warn when an incoming source is incorrectly wired, while green power-available LEDs show which sources are energized before a transfer is made. The rotary control provides intuitive one-hand operation and a positive mechanical indication of the selected source.

Blue Sea constructs the panel from heavy 5052 aluminum alloy and applies a two-part polyurethane slate-gray finish for corrosion resistance in marine environments. Because this is a selector panel rather than a breaker panel, correctly sized main and branch protection must remain part of the overall AC system.
