Description

The Blue Sea 7717 ML-RBS Remote Battery Switch provides high-current 24V battery switching with remote electrical control and a manual override directly at the switch. Its auto-release design is useful for boats where the main battery disconnect is mounted close to the battery to reduce heavy cable runs but still needs to be controlled from another location.

The manual override knob allows operation with or without control power and includes a locked-off position for servicing. A remote LED output can indicate switch state when used with an optional LED. Tin-plated copper studs provide strong conductivity and corrosion resistance, while the extended stud length accommodates multiple cable terminals. Silver-alloy contacts are designed for dependable switching of live DC loads.

The magnetic operating system draws only a small amount of current in the steady On or Off state and only briefly increases current while changing position. Blue Sea rates the switch for substantial continuous, intermittent, and engine-cranking loads, along with a long mechanical cycle life.
