Description

The Blue Sea 7702 ML-Series Remote Battery Switch provides high-current 24V battery isolation while allowing the switch itself to be mounted close to the battery. Remote electrical operation can reduce long heavy-cable runs to the helm or electrical panel, which can save installation space, weight, and voltage loss in larger marine systems.

The magnetic-latch mechanism draws current only while changing state and consumes no holding current while remaining fully On or Off. Silver-alloy contacts provide reliable switching of live DC loads, while heavy copper studs support large battery cable connections. A manual control is included so the switch can still be operated locally without control power and can be locked out during servicing.

Blue Sea rates the switch for 500A continuous operation, making it suitable for main battery switching on inboard gasoline or diesel engine systems and other substantial DC loads.
