Description

The Blue Sea 7701100 ML Solenoid provides 500A magnetic-latching switching for high-current 12V circuits where remote control is required but local manual operation at the solenoid is not necessary. It is designed for engine, inverter, house-load, and emergency battery-combine applications that benefit from keeping the main current path close to the battery.

The bi-stable magnetic mechanism draws current only while changing state and consumes no holding current in the steady On or Off position. Silver-alloy contacts support dependable live-load switching, while 3/8-inch tin-plated copper studs provide high conductivity and corrosion resistance. The extended stud length allows multiple cable terminals when the installation requires more than one connection point.

A Deutsch DTM connector provides the remote-control interface, and the product family supports a Contura remote switch. Blue Sea rates the solenoid for 500A continuous and 700A intermittent service when correctly cabled.
