Description

The Blue Sea 7635 m-LVD Low Voltage Disconnect helps protect a single-battery boat or vehicle from being stranded with a dead battery. It continuously monitors battery voltage and automatically disconnects non-essential loads when voltage falls too low, preserving reserve energy for engine starting or extending battery life.

The system provides a warning before disconnecting through status lights on both the m-LVD and its remote-control switch. An optional audible alarm can also be connected. The remote switch allows the user to adjust the disconnect voltage, temporarily override the disconnect for ten minutes, or manually turn the protected loads off until battery voltage recovers.

The housing supports surface, front-panel, or rear-panel mounting, while a rear insulating cover protects the main electrical contacts. Waterproof IP67 construction provides protection against temporary immersion, making the unit suitable for demanding marine environments.
