The Blue Sea Systems 7141 handles 70 amps in surface mount form, the 187-Series counterpart to the panel mount 7041 at the same rating. Surface mounting suits a bulkhead you cannot get behind or would rather not cut into.

Voltage rating is 48 volts DC with a thermally responsive bi-metal blade, and interrupt capacity runs 5,000 amperes at 12 volts, 3,000 at 24 and 1,500 at 42. Operating temperature is -25°C to +82°C. Class is Type III, switchable with manual reset and trip free.

Switching and protection are combined in the one unit with clear single lever operation, and the lever shows trip status by whether it sits vertical or horizontal. Recessed mounting holes, robust 5/16 terminals with clearance for heavy gauge lugs, thermoset polyester case, waterproof, and SAE J1171 ignition protected. See our other marine circuit breakers.
