Ninety amps puts the Blue Sea Systems 7043 between the common 80 and 100 amp panel mount breakers, useful where a circuit has outgrown 80 but oversizing to 100 would leave the wire underprotected. Rated to 48 volts DC.

Protection is by thermally responsive bi-metal blade, with interrupt capacity of 5,000 amperes at 12 volts DC, 3,000 at 24 and 1,500 at 42 volts. The breaker is Type III class, switchable with manual reset and trip free.

Installation is through a single hole saw cut thanks to the round self-trimming case, which does away with mounting panels and trim bezels. Recessed mounting holes, 5/16 terminals sized for heavy gauge lugs, and a large lever that reports trip status by orientation.
