Blue Sea 4028 AC Electrical Panel Isolation Cover

Description

The Blue Sea 4028 AC Isolation Cover provides electrical insulation and mechanical protection for the exposed rear side of a marine electrical panel. It is designed for panels whose terminals and wiring protrude into lockers, storage spaces, or other areas where accidental contact or shifting gear could otherwise reach live connections.

The cover creates a protective barrier around the panel back while remaining lightweight and easy to modify for the installation. Installers can drill the material for wire entry and exit points so cable routing can be tailored to the vessel without leaving the rear terminals unnecessarily exposed.

Blue Sea designed the isolation cover to help meet ABYC requirements for panels that combine AC and DC electrical systems. This is especially important where the back of the panel is accessible from a compartment rather than enclosed by permanent cabinetry.
