Description

The Blue Sea 3131 Surface Mount Circuit Breaker Enclosure provides a finished mounting box for compatible single- and double-pole marine circuit breakers. It is designed for installations where the breaker needs to be surface mounted rather than recessed into an existing electrical panel.

The enclosure accepts Blue Sea A-Series toggle breakers along with A-Series and C-Series flat-rocker breakers, giving installers flexibility to select the correct breaker style and current rating for the protected circuit. It also accommodates optional On-indicator LEDs and Blue Sea square-format circuit labels for a cleaner finished installation.

Wire glands and mounting fasteners are included, reducing the number of separate installation parts needed. Because the enclosure itself does not supply the circuit breaker, the correct protective device must be selected separately according to the system voltage, conductor size, and connected load. For custom marine electrical installations that need one or two breakers in a protected surface-mounted box, the 3131 provides a purpose-built enclosure.
