Blue Sea 3120 SMS Panel Enclosure – 240V ELCI Main

Description

The Blue Sea Systems 3120 handles 240V shore service with a single 50A ELCI main and two blank positions. Split-phase systems run both legs through the main, and mounting this within 10 feet of the AC inlet covers the ABYC E-11 requirement for leakage protection at the point of entry.

Indication is simpler than on the 120V models. Two green ON LEDs for 240V AC, and no reverse polarity lamp, since polarity indication does not work the same way on a split-phase feed. Label positions are backlit from the factory and the clear cover lets you read breaker state without opening the box.

The enclosure is glass filled polycarbonate with an overlapping cover and an oversized polyurethane gasket formed in place. The stainless hinge pin is easily removable and the stainless latch secures the cover without penetrating the wall. Both blanks take Carling Technologies A and C Series flat rocker and ELCI main breakers. Dimensions are 6 by 6 by 4 inches for the enclosure and 7.6 by 7.4 by 4.7 inches overall, with five waterproof glands, labels, mounting hardware and the manual included.
