The Blue Sea 3001 HD-Series Single Circuit On/Off Battery Switch with Alternator Field Disconnect is built for large marine DC systems that need a simple high-current main battery disconnect. Its 600A continuous rating provides substantial capacity for engine starting and other heavy loads, while the alternator field disconnect helps protect the charging system when the battery circuit is switched.

Each terminal can accept two 4/0 battery cables, and the 1/2-inch M12 tin-plated copper studs provide high conductivity and corrosion resistance. The extended stud length accommodates multiple cable terminals, making the switch easier to integrate into complex battery installations.

The 3001 is ignition protected for appropriate gasoline-powered boat installations and meets ABYC requirements for marine battery switches. Tactile textures allow the operator to identify knob position by feel, and the case supports either surface or rear-panel mounting.
