Blue Sea 24V 500A ML Heavy Duty Charging Relay

Description

The Blue Sea 7623 ML-Series Automatic Charging Relay manages charging between two 24V battery banks while supporting very high alternator output. Its 500A continuous rating makes it suitable for larger marine electrical systems where standard automatic charging relays do not provide enough current capacity.

The relay automatically combines battery banks when charging voltage is present and separates them when charging stops or system voltage falls. Start Isolation can temporarily protect sensitive house electronics during engine cranking, while Engine Isolation can separate two engine circuits when both are running.

A manual control switch allows local operation even without control power and includes a locked-off position for service work. The magnetic-latching design uses very little current while remaining in either steady state. LED outputs provide remote status for combined, isolated, voltage-lockout, and isolation conditions. For large 24V battery systems with high-output alternators, the 7623 provides automatic charge sharing with manual override and advanced isolation functions.
