Blue Sea 120-Amp SI-Series Automatic Charging Relay

Description

The Blue Sea 7610 SI-Series Automatic Charging Relay automatically manages charging between two battery banks while keeping them isolated during normal discharge. It is designed for 12V or 24V systems and supports charging sources such as alternators, battery chargers, and solar controllers.

During charging, the ACR combines the banks so both batteries can receive current. When charging stops or voltage falls, the relay separates them again to preserve the starting reserve. Start Isolation can temporarily disconnect sensitive house loads from the engine circuit during cranking to reduce voltage disturbances.

The relay is waterproof to IP67 for temporary immersion and ignition protected for appropriate gasoline-powered boat installations. LEDs indicate combined status and lockout conditions, and a remote LED output allows status indication away from the relay itself. For dual-bank marine systems using alternators up to 120A, the 7610 provides automatic charging management with starting isolation and rugged environmental protection.
