BEP Marine 80A Heavy Duty Circuit Breaker Module

Description

The BEP Marine 80A Heavy Duty Circuit Breaker Module provides switchable over-current protection for demanding onboard loads such as windlasses and davit winches. It is built around a Bussmann heavy-duty thermal circuit breaker and gives the operator a protected, resettable way to isolate a high-current circuit without relying on a disposable fuse.

The module is part of BEP’s Contour system and uses the Contour Lock molding format, allowing compatible modules to be grouped into a larger electrical panel. That modular approach is useful during new installations and refits because protection for additional circuits can be added while keeping the finished panel consistent and organized.

For equipment such as anchor windlasses, lifting systems, and other intermittent heavy loads, the breaker serves both as circuit protection and as a convenient means of switching the protected circuit off for service. The thermal breaker responds to sustained over-current conditions while remaining resettable after the fault has been corrected.
