BEP Marine 701-MDVS-D Motorized Dual VSS Switch

Description

The BEP Marine 701-MDVS-D combines automatic voltage-sensitive battery management with a remotely activated emergency parallel function in one heavy-duty motorized switch. It continuously monitors the connected start and house banks and combines them when charging voltage is available, then separates them when charging stops so the starting battery remains protected from house loads.

Dual-battery sensing allows the switch to respond when either bank reaches charging voltage. Engine-run logic changes the disconnect behavior according to operating conditions, helping maintain charging continuity while the engine is running without leaving the banks unnecessarily combined after shutdown. A dash-mounted momentary control can parallel the batteries for ten minutes when extra starting support is needed. After the timed period, the switch remains engaged only if system voltage is high enough for normal voltage-sensitive operation.

The 701-MDVS-D uses a Deutsch connector and supports recessed or surface mounting. Tinned copper conductors, stainless steel hardware, fiber-reinforced plastics, ignition-protected construction, low standby current, and a manual override are designed for long-term marine service.
