BEP Marine 12V DC Electronic Dimmer Switch

Description

The BEP Marine Electronic Dimmer Switch provides variable brightness control for conventional incandescent lighting on a 12V DC system. Turning the control adjusts light intensity from dim to bright, giving boat owners a straightforward way to reduce glare in cabins, cockpits, instrument areas, or other spaces where full illumination is not always desirable.

The dimmer is specifically intended for incandescent lamps and should not be used as an LED dimmer. It is rated for a 7A load on a nominal 12V DC supply and includes short 16 AWG wire leads for connection to battery power and the lighting load. The compact control mounts through a relatively small panel opening and can be installed in panels up to approximately one-quarter inch thick.

The red lead connects to battery power and the white lead connects to the load, keeping the wiring arrangement simple for a basic two-wire dimming circuit.
