Description

The Balmar 100A Spindle Mount Alternator Kit provides a coordinated 12V charging-system upgrade for engines using a 1-inch Motorola-style or 2-inch Delco-style single-foot mount. It includes the 621-100-K6 alternator, MC-618 external regulator, temperature sensors, and mounting hardware so the high-output alternator and charge-control components are matched from the start.

The 100A alternator uses isolated grounding and a K6 serpentine pulley. Its 1-inch spindle mount is typical of Westerbeke, Lehman, Hino, and Pathfinder engines, while the 2-inch Delco-style configuration covers many Volvo Penta gas and diesel engines, John Deere, Perkins, MerCruiser, Pleasurecraft, Crusader, Indmar, Marine Power, and other GM-based applications.

The K6 multi-rib pulley is designed for compatible serpentine drive systems capable of handling greater alternator load than many single-V-belt installations. The included MC-618 regulator provides external charging control, and temperature sensors help the system manage operating conditions during sustained high-output charging.

Mounting hardware completes the package. This kit replaces 621-VUP-MC-100-SR-KIT.
