Description

The Balmar 100A Saddle Mount Alternator Kit provides a coordinated 12V charging upgrade for engines using a 3.15-inch dual-foot Hitachi-style mount and K6 serpentine pulley system. The package includes the 60-100-K6 alternator, MC-618 external regulator, temperature sensors, and mounting hardware, giving owners the core components needed to upgrade both charging capacity and charge control.

The included alternator is rated for 100 amps, uses isolated grounding, and is configured for a K6 serpentine belt. Its 3.15-inch saddle mount is typical of many Yanmar, Westerbeke, Lehman, and Perkins-Sabre engines.

The MC-618 regulator manages the alternator externally, allowing more deliberate control over charging than a simple internal regulator.
