Description

The Attwood PowerBase is an intelligent, automated folding light mount that handles stowing and deploying lights or antennas at a single button press, no wrestling a stiff manual mount or leaving gear up and exposed when it doesn’t need to be.

It’s the only light/antenna mount on the market with real object detection built in. SafeGuard Breakaway kicks in the moment there’s an impact, automatically returning the mount to its stowed position to protect the fiberglass top from damage rather than letting the collision transfer straight into the deck. SmartDeploy Backdrive works the other direction: if deployment gets blocked by an obstruction, PowerBase senses it and reverses the light or antenna back to its starting position instead of grinding against whatever’s in the way.

It’s built for worry-free installation from the assembly line all the way to the marina, with standardized mounting patterns that keep future upgrades possible rather than locking you into one fixed setup, and intuitive controls that aren’t hemmed in by clunky switch limitations. It’s compatible with Attwood’s LightArmor LED technology, available in both masthead and all-round configurations for LightArmor LED nav lights.
