Description

The Ancor Yellow 6 AWG Tinned Copper Wire provides marine-grade DC-negative wiring with yellow insulation for clear circuit identification. Tinned copper stranding helps protect the conductor from corrosion and electrolysis in wet, salty, and vibration-prone environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction improves routing through machinery spaces and electrical compartments while helping the wire resist repeated flexing and vibration. Ancor’s premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat requirements.
