Description

The Ancor Yellow 4 AWG Tinned Battery Cable is designed for high-current DC-negative wiring aboard boats that use yellow conductor identification. Tinned copper strands provide additional protection against corrosion and electrolysis in battery compartments and other moisture-prone marine environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction improves routing through machinery spaces and around tight bends while helping the cable resist fatigue from vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade cable exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
