Description

The Ancor Yellow 2 AWG Battery Cable provides high-current marine wiring with yellow insulation for DC-negative identification. Tinned copper stranding helps protect the conductor from corrosion and electrolysis in damp, salty, and vibration-prone battery compartments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction improves routing through machinery spaces and around tight bends while helping the cable resist fatigue from vibration and repeated flexing. Ancor’s premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that the cable exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
