Description

The Ancor Red/Black 18/2 AWG Flat Duplex Cable combines two marine-grade conductors in one flexible cable for low-current DC circuits such as lighting, electronics, controls, and accessories. Red and black insulation simplifies polarity identification, while the flat profile helps the cable route neatly behind panels and along bulkheads.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 tinned copper stranding helps resist corrosion, electrolysis, vibration, and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and protects against salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
